Prim Where matters because we might be in a country with war and sometimes we can be born in a poor country. It depends on where you are born or where you live. If you live at Venezuela, you wouldn't have a lot of fun because you have to be indoors(gangster and crime problems.)Also, If you live in a wealthy country you will be very comfortable in your country(Which means that you are very lucky to be somewhere.)Right now, when we are at school other people across the world are doing work instead of going to school. So Where DOES matter
Where matters because other people might be living in a different environment than you. Where also matters because other people than you have a different place like a slum.
Renesh (This is adding to my other one). In other countries like India the mafias are taking the children and slaving them, the mafias also take their eyeballs out and make them beg for money. In some of the countries children have to risk their lives because they have to become soldiers.
Where matters because if you are born in a poor country or a country with lots of thieves, mafias or gangsters it will not be safe. Like in Thailand or other countries is peaceful but some countries like Iraq or Iran may not be safe for people.
Where matters because say you were born in a slum in Mumbai you have a totally different lifestyle to those from thailand with a rich family. But in all countries you can find 2 people who mave even live next door to each other but they still have a different lifestyle because of which family they were born into. So your lifestyle deppends on where you were born or want family you were born into. Thats why where matters.
Maria Teresa Where matters because you could be born in a family that has loads of money you would have had a different lifestlye than if you were born in a slum. Also it depends on the people that surround you if they are wealthy and smart you may have greater opportunities that if you live in a slum. You may also get better education (going to more expensive schools) than if you live in a slum. SO WHERE MATTERS...
'where' matters because you may be born in a rich or royal family and have the oppurtunities to mostly every facility and you have a totaly different lifestyle from the people who are poor and live in the slum because they dont have all the freedom to do whatever they want to.
Where matters because lets say you were born in a slum in mumbai you had less money and the rich people in Thailand had loads of money. There will be a big different lifestile because, it depends where you are born. If you compare us, we have everything what we want but them nothing.
I think where maters because if you are born in the slums, then later on in life and you find a very good job and you get a lot of money from it, and ever sense you were born your sense of place was the slums. Then you might not want to move because you have never been outside the slums because you are scared. Where as if you were born in a rich family then you would probably have more education and know more about the world around you. Also if you were born in a military family that moved around a lot then you would know even more about the world around you because you have been there and seen it with your own eyes and if you were in a family that likes to take vacations to wired places then you would be able to also see with your own eyes and be there. THAT IS WHY WHERE MATERS

I think that where matters because that you could some times be born in a dump or a slum and there are high chances that the walls you are born in determines the life you live. For example, many people are born in slums everyday, and most of the people born there lives in the slums and works in the slums. I think that the country doesn't matter but the place does because that being born in a slum in America or being born in a high-cost hospital in India or they could be a American millionaire broke and lives in a slum and a poor Indian person who lives in the slums wins the lottery. I agree that Why Where Matters is true.
Dhiksha I think where mater because they have different tradition in each country. In each country they are different types of slums and many other things. Where matter because the education is different in every country. In so places they have so many war that they cannot fun. It depends on where are you born and where do you live. It also matter what language do you speak. It matter because the environment is different. THAT’S WHY WHERE MATTERS!
Elli I think that where matters a lot!!!!!!!! The reason is because if you don't have where no one would be able to come to your b'day. It matters because if you don't have the word where it will kind of be like ignoring the other countries. Gosh and how would you feel when some one ignores your country. I also matters because of the environment. The resason is because their are many different types such as the slums and the city and the farms and the mountains and the jungles. LANGUAGE!!!!!!! that matters to because of every WHERE you go speaks as different language. I think that where really matters without that one word u wouldn't be able to a lot of stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!! :3
Ninad I think that "where matters" because no matter what condition we are in (sometimes), we'll always like the place we live in. But in some conditions people have time to do what they want to do. They have to work for the whole day. Still deep down in their heart they still feel that the country they live in is the best place. Most of these people still feel happy without having anything.
Ben I believe that "where matters" because if you were born in the slums of India or in a slum then that means you are living in an overcrowded and small room. If you were born some place else then your family maybe wealthy but it doesn't matter whether your family is rich or poor as long as you are happy.Kids living in slums have to work and instead of attending school
Ben Where matters a lot to me! Also what language you speak matters. Since I am American-Israeli I can speak English, Spanish, Hebrew and some Thai. Its much harder to get a job when your older if you live in the slums. Around 75 million children last year did not attend school. That's around 1/3 of the world's population.
I believe that we are all very lucky that we attend school and should be thankful for that. I live in a lovely apartment and I live very close to the Khlong Toei Slum. In Thailand there is no war so we are lucky but in Mexico and in Columbia there is a war called the Drug War there. So I belive where matters a lot.
Emmy Where matters because you could be born in a poor family and not have enough to eat or not enough room to sleep.Another reason is because we are fortunate enough to attend an IB School but every child should at least be able to attend a ordinary school and have a chance to make a diffrence in their life.Where also depends on, "Around every corner of the world there is a new culture to explore and new places to be discovered!
Where matters because if you are born in a under develope country you might get little money for your hard work and thkere is little food for you everyday. In a develope country you get more money and can afford to send children to school. But if your happy with your place and is with your family then where doesn't matter.
Kavi I think where matters because if you are born in a poor country, then you probably won't have as much money as a rich country. It is not 100% sure. If you are born in to a family which has some money then you will probably be sended to a good school and you will be treated properly. But most people they are happy with their place and their family.
I think where matters because if you were born in a rich country, your life would be easier because you don't have to work really hard. But if you were born in a poor country, your life would be really hard and you don't have a lot of choices. However, it's more important to live with your family that you love.
I think where matters because there are more choices in rich countries than poor countries. Education, foods and necessities are well provided. But competition is also higher. People in a unhealthy family may can not have a good education like the healthy family. So thats why where does matter.
i think were matters because i you were born in america you might be in a rich family, if you were born in africa you might be in a poor family living in the slums. But thier are rich people in the african countries and poor people in america. But all that matters is if you love your family or not.
Mohamad said.... I think why does where matter because if you were born in a poor family in a poor country and you might not have a proper life style. If you were born in an ordinary family you will get a normal life with education and all that and just maybe you could just continue that on from generation to generation. That is why where matters.
Also from Joe... It does not matter where you were born in or what kind of background it matters whether you've been to school and have basic stuff you need in your life.
Mike (Michael) Where matters because if you come from a poor country you maybe poor and if you come from a wealthy country then you maybe rich. And in some poor courntrys are very happy for what they have.
Nathan (Jamie) Where matters is that if someone was born in a rich country their parents might be rich but if they were born in a poor country they also might have a chance of being very poor and hungry or they could be borned in an average country and they could have an average amount of money to live with and if the person's parent has enough money, they might send their child to school.
Where matters because if you were born in a rich family, you would probably see the difference between us and them, the people who live in the slum. But we don't really care, because if you see them they are begging for just a small t-shirt and we just come home take of our clothes and just throw it around the room. Also there is one more thing we live a different lifestyle. they dont have a lifestyle. So I think that we can do better by acting on it.
Where matters because if you are fortunate to be born in a good family, you will have more opportunities to do something and become someone where as the people born in the slum don't get to do things like us. In the slums they don't have anything to eat or drink so some of them beg and some of them steal and they live in an unhygienic environment. We can make a difference by taking action to help them.
where matter we are, is the our life. Some people are born in poor, some people are born in rich. I think if your in rich, you have to treasure it or else it may lost.
